Webinar Health Care and Social Service Provider Partnerships for Complex Patients – The Commonwealth Fund

About this event

Changes in the health care system are driving interest in new ways to integrate medical care and social services, such as housing, food, and transportation, for complex patients. However, there is little guidance on how partnerships between health care and non-medical service providers should be structured.

This webinar draws on recent Commonwealth Fund-supported research by the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation’s Ruben Amarasingham, M.D., on potential organizational, governance, and financial arrangements and a range of payment and delivery reform approaches to working with non-medical service providers. Leaders from a health system and a social service organization will also provide their insights on challenges and opportunities.
